Stress echocardiography
Stress echocardiography is a study that allows imaging of the heart during exercise (see "Ergometer") using ultrasound (echocardiography). The stress situation can be generated on the bicycle ergometer or with restrictions of the musculoskeletal system by medication. In addition to the parameters of ergometry (ECG changes, complaints), the movement of the heart walls under load can be additionally assessed here.
Furthermore, stress echocardiography offers the opportunity to better assess ambiguous heart valve changes in order to provide the best possible therapy.
